It is my delight to inform you that Premier International School emerged as the best Primary school in the FCT in 2019/2020 academic session. This assessment was carried out by the Department of Quality Assurance, the division of the Federal Ministry of Education which regulates all schools in the country. Out of over 2000 registered schools in the FCT which were evaluated, Premier emerged as the best in the Primary category. We are very proud of this achievement and we recognise the contributions of every member of our school community towards this feat. We thank you immensely for your support through the years. We will continue to do our best to serve you better. Congratulations to us all!.
It was indeed a memorable day in Premier International School on Thursday, 12th of
November 2020 as pupils/students contested for election into various offices of their choice.
The electoral aspirants presented their manifesto to the whole school assembly while
seeking to be elected into various positions. The aspirants stated in clear terms what they hope
to achieve when voted into the various positions.
We are happy to inform our dear parents that the class of 2019/2020 set of graduands had their graduation ceremony on the 14th November, 2020 at the school premises. Awards were given to deserving students who distinguished themselves in various areas.
“All About Me” day is an educational programme that is celebrated by Preschool pupils. It aims to help children express
themselves and discuss their families. The event was held on the 20th of November 2020. All Preschool pupils came to school dressed
in their favorite clothes along with their favourite book and toy. The highlight of the event was the family tree activities, show and tell and speech presentation..
Premier International School took part in commemorating this year’s Jeans for Genes Day on the 25th November, 2020. The School’s Learning Support Unit hosted the event, which aimed at raising awareness about genetic disorders and the people that live with them. All learners and staff wore their jeans to school on 25th of November, 2020 to mark the event.
It was an exciting and fascinating week for the literacy department with the “Spell it Out” programme where pupils from the primary school engaged in a spelling bee competition.
