Head of School’s Message

Mr. Charles Husseini

I welcome you warmly to Premier International School

Many thanks for taking the time off your busy schedule to visit our website. I hope you find it very interesting and informative and that it answers any question(s) you may have about the school.

At Premier International School, we offer a unique curriculum comprising of the National, Cambridge (British) and a blend of the American curricula. At the early years, we run the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Montessori curriculum, at the primary school, we run both the National primary and Cambridge primary Curriculum while at the secondary school, the National and Cambridge Curriculum. These curricula prepare our learners to write the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examination at the primary school level and the West African Senior School Certificate (SSCE) and International General Certificate of Secondary School Education (IGCSE) at the secondary school level. Our philosophy of education is holistic; with a focus on all aspects of learners’ development; academic, physical, social and emotional.

Since its establishment, Premier International School has worked tirelessly to espouse

three key defining attributes;

  • A commitment to academic excellence and inclusion
  • A culture of discipline and morality
  • A focus on the holistic development of its learners through a well-rounded exposure to sports, the arts and community service.

Aside academic excellence which has always remained core to the institution’s philosophy, Premier international School continues to evolve to meet the needs of today’s learners with the goal to ultimately nurture individuals that can address contemporary societal challenges. Blending learning with technology plays a key role in today’s education; in supporting our learners to achieve this objective, we have launched a digital learning program and all our students in years 7-10 now have personal laptop computers which they use in class to support their learning. We equally run bilingual programs where our learners attend classes in French, German and Mandarin and take certification examination in DELF Prim and DELF Junior. There is so much more to our exciting programs in Premier International School.

To find out more about what we offer, kindly follow the contact links on the website or visit our school in person to see things for yourself. We are always delighted to welcome you and I look forward to meeting you.
