Premier Secondary school is divided into two sections -Junior Secondary (Year 7 to 9) and Senior Secondary (Year 10 to 12). We run the British and Nigerian curriculums. the Nigerian curriculums leads to BECE (for JSS3), WAEC, NECO and JAMB (for SS3). While, the British curriculums leads to IGCSE. We have a wide range of extra-curricular activities and we run over 50clubs which span across STEAM, Art, Robotics, Ballet, Martial Art, Cheerleading, Music, etc. a good job of capturing our feelings about space.
We run an integrated curriculum (Cambridge IGCSE and WAEC/NECO) both at the Junior and Senior Schools. This curriculum contains subjects that enable the students to acquire knowledge, life skills and global perspectives. Our curriculum also provides students with a range of opportunities for leadership, self discovery and employability.
Why PIS secondary
We provide targeted academic remedial to ensure that no student is left behind or allowed to coast. We run different intervention programmes for pupils who require extra support in academics. Our reinforcement lessons are skill-based and we focus on helping to improve on individual students’ skills. We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities and run over 50 clubs which span across Sports, Music, Art, Science, Health and safety, Dance, ICT, Cookery, Gardening etc.

PARTNERSHIP AND ACREDITATION
Our school is an accredited centre for Cambridge Checkpoint Exam.
Also, we partner with British Council Partner Schools Global Network and Association of International School Educators of Nigeria. All our teachers have attained requisite National and international trainings and certifications (such as CAIE trainings, Microsoft Certified Educator, Google Certified Educator, etc.) to ensure international standard. Most of our teachers are trained in teaching Cambridge Primary Checkpoint
SOME OF OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
- In the 2020 NECO Examination, 81.3% of our students grades were between A to C. In the 2020 WAEC Examination, 23 of our students excelled in flying colours with grades between (As to Cs). In the 2020 JAMB Examination, our lowest score was 202, and our highest score was 318.
- Outstanding performance in NTIC/NMC mathematics competitions for several years and About 80% of our teachers are certified as Microsoft Educators. Overall 3rd position in NTIC 2019 Mathematics competition.
- Between position 1 and 20 in the overall result, we have 12 students from our school. Premier International School claimed 7 positions between the 1st and 10th positions National Mathematics Competition
